Paul Morrissey

Mr. Morrissey is a math teacher at St. Joseph's Preparatory School.

He also serves as the head swim coach. Prior to teaching Mr. Morrissey graduated from Villanova Law School and worked at a prestigious Philadelphia law firm. His passion for teaching, however, won out and he has been working with young people since 2004. While coaching the Prep's swim team, Mr. Morrissey had the idea to establish a service project for the athletes; Breaking the Waves was born.

Through Breaking the Waves, Mr. Morrissey and Prep swimming hope to educate people about teen depression and suicide. BTW's pledge asks young people to reach out to a trusted adult and open honest lines of communication. To learn more about Breaking the Waves, please email Mr. Morrissey at pmorrissey@sjprep.org.
