Meg Givnish-Brezina Ph.D.

Dr. Meg Givnish is nationally known as a clinician, teacher, trainer and motivational speaker. She has been an honored faculty member in the Graduate School of Health Education at St. Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, PA since 1986. Currently she is on the faculty of Delaware County Community College in the department of Communication.

Meg was among the first professionals in the US to be Certified as a Trainer, Educator, Practitioner by the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama and Group Psychotherapy. She created The Problem Solving Theatre troupe in 1980. This synthesis of therapeutic drama, therapy, humor and spontaneity educated and entertained thousands of people in performances all over the United States.

Dr. Givnish was awarded an Emmy in 1987 for her writing, directing and narrating the one time special “What Will We Do About Momma?”
