Alice Bateman has been teaching social studies at William Penn Charter’s Middle School for seven years. Alice also is the head clerk for Penn Charter’s professional development organization. She is the field hockey and lacrosse coach for the middle school program. As an educator, Alice has been very interested in exploring the topics of conflict resolution and bullying. Bella, her eighth year old daughter, is her travel companion and comedy sidekick. When she is not teaching, Alice enjoys traveling, studying comparative religions, and playing ultimate frisbee.
